Dave Black

Retired high school teacher Dave Black and his wife Lois got to know HCJB more intimately when they went on a Vision Journey to Ecuador in 1999. Since 2004, Dave has served as a volunteer, providing a vital link between our donors and our numerous projects. An essential part of his ministry is to thank donors for partnering with us through media and health care, as well as providing current information about projects. Dave often hears donors comment that they are impressed with HCJB’s ability to reach people with the Gospel in places where traditional missionaries cannot go. Evidence of God’s hand in the timing of phone calls and visits is often evident to Dave as contact with donors is made at the precise moment that they are prepared to give to meet an urgent project need.
