Brian Seeley
Brian has loved radio as long as he can remember. In 1976 Brian and his wife Sharon, a nurse, left to serve with HCJB in Quito Ecuador. Medical needs of their youngest children required their return to Canada in 1990 but Brian’s passion to use radio as a tool to spread the Gospel never faded. In 2004 when the ministry of Radio Planting began to grow in Canada Brian and Sharon eagerly accepted the opportunity to join the growing Canadian team.
God is using this rapidly growing arm of HCJB Global Canada to reach out in English, Urdu, and Low German, as well as Cree and Dene via radio station CIAM in northern Alberta. Although the number changes regularly there are now approximately 11 ministry partnerships with various radio stations across Canada.
Added to Brian's ministry in radio planting, his experience with representation in Ontario and the Atlantic provinces will be of immeasurable value as he endeavors to make the opportunities for service in Canada, and around the world, known to Canadians at large.
Brian also serves at Hope FM 94.3 in Woodstock Ontario as a co-host of the morning show Monday through Friday and the host of a Southern Praise show from 2-3 in the afternoon also Monday through Friday. He is also responsible for the local news and sports on the station. Hope FM can be heard live in the internet at www.hopefm.ca.
